Fresh Cranberry Sauce

Bright, tart cranberry sauce that tastes nothing like the canned stuff. Sweet syrup softens each berry just enough while keeping them whole, creating a glossy sauce with real fruit texture. Make it ahead and let it chill completely for best flavor.

Ingredients

  • 11 cup sugar
  • 11 cup water
  • 11 (12-ounce) package Ocean Spray® Fresh or Frozen Cranberries

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil; add cranberries, return to boil. Reduce heat and boil gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover and cool completely at room temperature. Refrigerate until serving time.
