Crock Pot Ribs

Fall-apart tender ribs that need nothing but a slow cooker and barbecue sauce. Eight hours of gentle heat transforms pork into something so soft it barely needs your teeth. The sauce caramelizes slightly, turning sticky and deeply flavorful. Minimal effort, maximum comfort food.

Ingredients

4 servings

  • 11 3–4 pound country style pork ribs, also known as baby back ribs (about 2 racks)
  • 11 teaspoon salt
  • 11 cup bbq sauce plus additional for serving

Instructions

  1. 1. Place ribs in a crock pot and sprinkle both sides with salt.

  2. 2. Pour BBQ sauce over the ribs and coat the ribs WELL with the sauce.

  3. 3. Cover the slow cooker (aka crock pot) and cook on low heat for 8–10 hours.

  4. 4. Baste with BBQ sauce if desired and serve.
