Ingredients

  • 12 oz. applejack (preferably Laird’s)
  • 1¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1½ oz. fresh orange juice
  • 1½ oz. pure maple syrup
  • 12 dashes of Angostura bitters
  • 1Freshly grated nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Combine applejack, lemon juice, orange juice, maple syrup, and bitters in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until the outside of the shaker is frosty, about 20 seconds.

  2. Strain cocktail into an ice-filled rocks glass and sprinkle with nutmeg.
