Blackberries muddle into bright pineapple and tequila, rounded out by herbaceous Suze and sharp lime. It's a crushingly refreshing drink, floral and fruity without tipping into sweet. Perfect when you want something sophisticated but not fussy.

Ingredients

  • 14 fresh blackberries, divided
  • 12 ounces fresh pineapple juice
  • 11 1/2 ounces tequila blanco
  • 11/2 ounce Suze
  • 11/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1Mint sprig (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Muddle 2 blackberries in a cocktail shaker. Add pineapple juice, tequila, Suze, and lime juice and shake until mixture starts to get frothy, about 10 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprig and remaining 2 blackberries.
