Al's Bloody Best

From the kitchen of Carly

A classic Bloody Mary built for redemption. Tomato juice, vodka, and Worcestershire meet a whisper of horseradish and heat. Shake it cold, pour it tall, and let the celery salt and olives do their restorative work. The cure tastes like it actually works.

Ingredients

4 servings

  • 14 ounces of tomato juice
  • 11/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 11 dash of lemon juice
  • 12 drops of Tabasco
  • 11 dash of pepper (to taste)
  • 11 dash of salt (to taste)
  • 11 1/2 ounces of Grey Goose vodka
  • 11 dash of celery salt
  • 1smidgen of horseradish

Instructions

  1. Shake and pour into a tall glass filled one-third with ice, garnish with green olives, and upsy-daisy. If that doesn't work, light three candles, take a cold shower, drink hot coffee, lie flat, and moan. And next time, try to behave.

  2. Begin by turning on music best suited for the occasion of a near-death hangover. A dirge is always nice. Then in a cocktail shaker, and, for those who like a kick in the head, a smidgen of horseradish.
