Ingredients

  • 11 cup crushed or cracked ice
  • 13 tablespoons (1 1/2 ounces) absinthe
  • 11 tablespoon (1/2 ounce) simple syrup
  • 12 to 4 tablespoons (1 to 2 ounces) club soda (optional)

Instructions

  1. In an old-fashioned glass, combine crushed or cracked ice, absinthe, and simple syrup. Stir until most of the ice melts. For a lighter cocktail, add 2 to 4 tablespoons club soda.
